The National Chairman of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has allegedly disqualified two persons in the NDC Sunyani West parliamentary aspirant vetting process for unknown reasons.
Information available to the Town Newspaper indicates that Mr Asiedu Nketia did that to allow his girlfriend Millicent Amankwah Yeboah, go unopposed in the parliamentary seat contest.
According to investigative sources, it is also alleged that the said lady was previously in a relationship with a former Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Collins Dauda.
However, the then General Secretary of NDC snatched her away, creating serious problem between the two NDC gurus.
As a result, these two NDC members are in loggerheads because of the lady. Millicent Amankwa Yeboah is said to be also dating many of the NPP gurus.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to elect a new flagbearer as well as its parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.
