Tensions within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are reaching a boiling point as a prominent party insider, speaking on condition of anonymity, has delivered a startling prediction that the party’s chances in the upcoming elections are doomed due to the lack of a compelling campaign message by their flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
According to our sources, the apparatchik, known for being an influential figure within the NDC’s inner circle, expressed deep concerns about the party’s preparedness for the elections.
“As much as I wish for our success, I can’t ignore the reality that our campaign strategy is severely lacking,” the insider revealed.
He said John Mahama’s leadership and his inability to deliver a captivating campaign message have put the NDC in a difficult position to woo the Ghanaian electorates.
Based on this, the source stressed that a shadow of doubt has been cast over the party’s prospects.
The prediction comes at a critical juncture in Ghanaian politics, with the country gearing up for what is expected to be a closely contested 2024 election.
